One thing you'll find at Hillside is that we have a heart for lost people. We understand just how blessed we are to be in the situation we're in.
It's humbling to know that God has chosen to use us to accomplish His purposes. That's a task we don't take lightly.
We believe that being a strong "mission-minded" church is more than just giving money. We believe it also means giving our time, energy, and comfort to the cause of the Kingdom.

Samaritan's Purse Leaving
We are grateful for the work Samaritan's Purse has done in Cedar Rapids. After serving in Cedar Rapids at Hillside for a number of weeks, their work is now done. As a church we are still evaluating what we can do to help in the rebuilding efforts, so please stay tuned for more announcements.
Prayer Items
- Pray for our Hillside family to reach out both to our affected homes and those througout the Cedar Rapids community.
- Pray that God would send more volunteers to Cedar Rapids to help with the flood relief.
- Pray for the "store" on July 3rd and 4th -- that God would supply every need and that we would be effective in providing for the material and spiritual needs of the people.
