Hillside has been blessed in forging a partner relationship with Samaritan's Purse. We have been able to work with their Disaster Relief Team and their Operation Christmas Child facility in Minnesota.
Mission Mississippi:
In August, 2006 we sent a missions team to Mississippi to help with clean up and rebuilding after the destruction of Hurricane Katrina. The team spent the week mudding and taping drywall, tearing out a ceiling, and laying subfloor. It was a hot, exhausting trip and merely a drop in the bucket of all the work that needs to take place in the Gulf area. But, God was clearly evident in his grace for the team in completing these difficult tasks.
